perinoteal loose body or peritoneal mice
복강내에 발견되는 괴사된 조직의 석회화된 조각.
(calcified pieces of necrotic tissue found in the peritoneal cavity)
대부분 무증상이며 0.5cm~2.5cm 으로 크기가 작다.
드물게 5~10cm 로 크기가 커지기도 한다.
epiploic appendage 의 torsion과 autoamputation으로 인해 발생한다고 알려져 있다.
chronic한 torsion은 ischemia와 calcification을 유발하고 fibrosis되고 autoamputation되어
복강내로 떨어져 나가게 된다.
CT 소견
centrally calcified soft tissue mass
mobile mass, moving to the dependent position of the patient
매우 드물게 urinary retension이나 bowel obstruction을 유발하며,
이러한 경우 수술적 제거가 치료이다.
